We’re excited to announce the launch of our official WordPress plugin for Rocket Validator!
With the new Rocket Validator API, many developers have been developing plugins and extensions to integrate Rocket Validator reports into their sites.
In the context of the WordPress Accessibility Day 2024, we wanted to contribute to the community by providing an official plugin to integrate Rocket Validator reports right into the WordPress admin dashboard.
Introducing the Rocket Validator Accessibility Dashboard WP plugin
The new plugin, named Rocket Validator Accessibility Dashboard, provides a simple way to show the latest validation report for your site right in your WordPress dashboard.
All you need to do is install the plugin from the WordPress plugin repository and enter your Rocket Validator API token in the settings screen:
In this screen you can also set the site URL, which should match the starting URL of your Rocket Validator reports. Once that is set, you will be able to see the latest validation report for that site right in your WordPress dashboard, including the number of issues found and the details of the common HTML and accessibility issues on your site.
Free vs Pro
The free version of Rocket Validator includes 100 free checks per month and allows you to check up to 25 web pages per site for HTML issues. Upgrading to a Pro account unlocks advanced features such as:
- Reports with up to 5,000 web pages per site
- A11Y and HTML checks powered by Axe Core and W3C HTML Validator Nu
- Scheduling and deploy hooks
- Muting rules
- Device viewport emulation
- Guest accounts
- Up to 50,000 monthly checks
