Accessibility Checker upgraded to Axe Core 4.11.1

by Jaime Iniesta

We've upgraded our accessibility validation servers to the latest version of axe-core, 4.11.1, which fixes several false positives, which may result in a slightly lower number of reported issues. It also resolves an edge-case bug that caused the color contrast rule to skip a page. Pages that were not tested due to this issue may now be evaluated and could surface new color contrast issues.

In addition, this release corrects several recently introduced RGAA tags. As a result, when running an RGAA ruleset, the set of rules executed—and how they are mapped to RGAA criteria—may differ slightly from previous runs.

As usual, you don’t need to do anything on your side to update, we’ve upgraded our servers with this version so they’ll run automatically in your next reports.
