Basic HTTP Authentication Support

by Jaime Iniesta

We’re pleased to announce that Basic HTTP Authentication support is now available for all agency and enterprise users. This new capability addresses a frequent request from our users who need to validate protected web pages.

With Basic HTTP Authentication support, you can now validate pages that require authentication, such as staging environments, development sites, and other protected areas.

Secure Credential Management

Credentials can be configured through the Authentications section, where you can manage all your authentication settings.

All credentials are encrypted before storage in our database, and you maintain full control to modify or remove them as needed.

Usage in Validation Reports

Implementing authentication in your validation workflow is straightforward. You can apply credentials to any validation report or scheduled report.

Once configured, Rocket Validator will automatically include the appropriate authentication headers when requesting pages from your server.
